Hi! Im Mackenzie Farrah, A Nashville based floral designer, and flower farmer.
I’m Mackenzie, a Nashville-based floral designer, grower, and fiber artist with a background in environmental education. Over the years I’ve worked for farms & studios including Green Door Gourmet, TN Cut Flower Co., Neighborlily, A Village of Flowers, Forward Flora and more.
Growing flowers has given me an intimate relationship with them and taught me to see beauty in every stage of their life. This perspective makes me a resourceful designer who values both the fleeting and lasting qualities of flowers and knows the effort that goes into the full cycle of floral design. In my personal work as a fiber artist, I use flower waste to create dyes and eco prints.
My work is guided by reciprocity—I source primarily from local growers, design with the seasons, and use eco-conscious practices.
For me, the joy of floral design lies in listening closely to people’s visions and translating them into physical form—arrangements that hold story, beauty, and the spirit of the moment.
